摘要：

The transducer community proposed a general standard on the IEEE 1451 series that would make life easier since a number of instrument buses and new ways to communicate with transducers were useful only to small segments of the transducer community. The proposed standard defines an interface for mixed-mode transducers as part of the P1451 family of standards. The IEEE P1451.4 interface allows the use of existing analog transducer wiring and for those demanding applications where it is not practical to include the network interface (NCAP) with the transducer.
