摘要：

This thesis respectively analyzes the different personalities of four couples: Wickham and Lydia, Mr. Collins and Charlotte, Mr. Bingley and Jane, and Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth. It then further analyzes their marriages, as influenced by the economic and social environment and resulting from their personalities. All in all, we can conclude that love is the foundation of happy marriage.
