Test of the dynamic lattice liquid model of glass-forming liquids

摘要
The dynamic lattice liquid model proposed recently by Pakula was examined. We have established in terms of this model the analytical formulae describing the combined temperature and pressure effects on the relaxation time. The model predictions for four simple cases of the activation energy vs. local volume dependences were compared with dielectric relaxation data measured in the full thermodynamical space. It was shown that only the case in which molecular rearrangements are controlled by both temperature and free volume provides an adequate description of the isothermal and isobaric dependences of structural relaxation on volume for tested material.
