摘要:
Greenhouse gas Carbon dioxide (CO2) emission has attracted world-wide attention and urgent actions are needed to reduce the impact of CO2 on the climate change challenge. Photocatalytic CO2 reduction reaction (CO2RR) is regarded as a promising way for utilizing CO2 as a feedstock to produce value-added chemicals driven by sustainable solar energy. Efficient photocatalysts are crucially important for achieving high performance CO2RR. Taking the advantages of hollow structure in light harvesting, large surface area and ability to enrich the local CO2 concentration, the hollow photocatalysts have demonstrated their great potential for photocatalytic CO2RR. Herein, we provide a concise overview on the mechanism, state-of-the-art advances and future perspective in hollow structured photocatalysts for photocatalytic CO2RR.
