摘要
This paper proposes a Double-stator Flux Switched permanent magnet motor (DS-FSM) adopting stator-partitioned structure with double air gaps. The DS-FSM is designed and verified by finite element analysis (FEA). Compared with a conventional flux-switching machine using rare earth PMs and a single air gap, the proposed motor demonstrates higher torque density. The designed motors are then comprehensively evaluated for motor performance such as torque capability, demagnetizing withstand capability, motor loss and efficiency. The results reveal that the DS-FSM can be an interesting and potential candidate for the EV traction applications.
