摘要
In this article, a compact microstrip-fed slot antenna with circular polarization characteristic for 5-6 GHz wireless local area network (WLAN) systems is presented. The proposed antenna is fabricated on an FR4 substrate with dielectric constant of 4.4. The antenna configuration consists of open-stub microstrip-line in top layer and a circularly slotted ground plane with a pair of spur-shaped slits. The measured impedance bandwidth for l0 dB return loss is from 4.75 to 6.25 GHz with an axial ratio bandwidth of 5.15-5.85 GHz, covering 5.2/5.8GHz WLAN operating bands. Good return loss and radiation pattern characteristics are obtained in the frequency band of interest. (C) 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
