摘要
Rice Husk (RH) is the outer layer of the paddy crop. It is enormously available throughout the world wide as an agro waste. Rice husk is widely used in the industries as a fuel. Due to burning of rice husk, its ash form has produced known as Rice Husk Ash (RHA). In the recent years, researchers are trying to dope it into different material in order to generate a new class of compound with better properties so that it can able to meet the recent demand from material. Its abundancy and low cost of rice husk acts as a catalyst in preparation of advance material. RHA mainly contains silica as a major component, due to which RH as well as RHA has used as a prime reinforcing agent in order to improve the mechanical properties of alloys. By analysing the importance and increasing demand of rice husk ash based material, a study, particularly focused on the last 10 years of researchs on its impact on properties of aluminum based alloy has been considered and reviewed in this paper.
