摘要
The biochemical and clinical aspects are discussed for copper, molybdenum, selenium, and zinc. Specific diseases or syndromes are related to deficiencies of or intoxication by these trace elements. Reference ranges for these elements in erythrocytes, or serum/plasma were given based on limited studies on healthy individuals. Avoidance of contamination during sample collection and analyses are essential for clinically relevant results.
