Effects of D-penicillamine on growth and metastasis of Lewis lung carcinoma

摘要：
The effects of D-penicillamine on the growth and metastasis of Lewis lung carcinoma have been studied. D-penicillamine administration resulted in significant retardation and inhibition of primary tumor growth and in drastic reduction of metastatic volumes. Zinc sulphate treatment gave the opposite results promoting the metastatic growth. The combined treatment with D-penicillamine and zinc sulphate was shown to suppress metastasis only in 44% of cases.
