摘要
A novel circularly polarized microstrip antenna fed by coupled microstrip lines is presented. The antenna is printed on a single layer substrate. Circular polarized wave is excited by a pair of side-concaved square patches. A balun from coupled microstrip lines to microstrip line is designed to measure the antenna's performances. The experiment results show that the maximum gain is 9.71dB and the bandwidth of 3dB axial ratio is about 80MHz. The return loss (<-10dB) bandwidth is 160MHz from 5.71 to 5.87GHz. This antenna not only has high gain and low profile but also is easy to be integrated with microwave circuits.
