摘要
A compact dual-band antenna for wireless applications is proposed. The proposed antenna provides 2:1 voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) impedance bandwidth of 590 MHz centered at 2.6 GHz and 3.09 GHz centered at 6.19 GHz. The antenna is fabricated on a substrate of dielectric constant 4.4 and thickness 1.6 mm, occupies an area of 36.9 x 18 mm(2). Details of the proposed antenna design along with experimental and simulation results are presented. (C) 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
