摘要
The university extension enables the dissemination of new knowledge to the community and, as an educational, cultural and scientific process, has driven the university to develop activities aimed at economic and solidary enterprises. The research aimed to verify if the UEMS extension projects, incubated by ELOS-ITCP, contemplate the precepts of the inseparability of teaching, research and extension and contribute to social inclusion. To this end, a case study was developed. Data were collected through documents and interviews, measured through content analysis. Three incubated projects were analyzed from 2010 to 2016. Regarding the integration of projects with research and teaching activities at the university, it was noticed that the projects reached several areas, showing the interdisciplinarity to the participating academics. Social inclusion was promoted by providing access to the knowledge necessary to combat social difficulties.
