摘要
This paper analyzes the relationship between corporate performance and individual characteristics, such as the education, age, experience, theoretical knowledge and practical experience of the independent directors and find that the independent directors do not affect the academic performance of the company's positive impact; Age and experience of independent directors on firm performance are more significant, and all for the positive impact; At the same time, Independent directors who have the background of theory and businessmen also have significant positive impact on company performance. This shows that enterprises blind pursuit of higher education have no practical meaning, while experienced independent directors who understand the theoretical and have practical experience play an important role on development of the company.
