Study on the Supervision Characteristics and Enterprises Development of the Construction Engineering in China

The construction engineering industry and enterprises have a relatively short development history, and are in the preliminary stage of a booming industry. With the further merge of domestic and overseas engineering consultancy market, the domestic construction engineering supervision and consultancy enterprises will face the challenge from more and stronger opponents. Compared with overseas companies, although with certain strength as individuals, the domestic construction engineering supervision and consultancy enterprises are still a supporting role in the international market, and need to improve their competition ability. First, this dissertation analyzes the current situation, characteristics and existing problems and reasons of the construction engineering supervision industry. Second, SWOT is utilized to analyze the strength, weakness, opportunity and threats of the construction engineering industry. Then, an analysis is given to the current situation and development trend of construction engineering enterprises, pointing out the prospect and the necessity for the construction engineering enterprises to develop into the consultancy or project management companies with comprehensive abilities. The development and achievements of China's construction supervision are analyzed as references and inspirations for the construction engineering enterprises development
