摘要
The purpose of this article is to present the dossier on youth and adult education, literacies and decoloniality. Initially, the article presents the axis that unifies the articles, adult education, the theoretical perspectives and the central concepts derived from decolonial theories and new literacy studies that guided the organization of this dossier, as well as problems that pervade the field of adult education in Latin America. Next, the theoretical-methodological, ethical, and political choices mobilized in the articles are presented and discussed. Finally, we outline the contributions of literacy studies and decolonial theories can make to inspire research and design of public policies in the field.
