摘要
The paper aims to introduce the research framework that analyses the influence of new phenomenon in leadership literature known as "dark leadership". The paper defines concepts of dark leadership, employee wellbeing and work-family conflict and builds foundation for empirical analysis dark leadership impact on employees (well-being, work-family conflict). This area is gaining popularity in literature given its important nature in measuring and assessing the productivity of employees. It has been found that wellbeing of the employees is one of the most significant factors to motivate them to achieve the organizational goals. Dark leadership traits have an adverse effect on trust and loyalty creation, job satisfaction as well as the quality of leader-employee relationship. The suggestions of the current paper are believed to offer some practical implications that would be of value to managers and leaders who lead their subordinates. Furthermore, it is proposed to empirically evaluate the effect of negative sides of dark side leadership on three important areas including leader-employee relations, work-family conflict and employees' wellbeing.
