摘要：
Review is devoted to the problems of cytochrome P-450 functions and regulation of expression of isoforms be longing to families 1-3 taking part in metabolism of xenobiotics. The substrate specificity of isoforms of these families in described; special attention is given to isoforms found in humans. Different mechanisms of cytochrome P-450 isoforms induction are analyzed and the role of Ah receptor in regulation of cell functions not associated with cytochrome P-450 induction are discussed. In mechanisms of common regulation of different classes of detoxification enzymes such as: monooxygenase enzyme system, conjugation enzymes and P-glycoprotein are reviewed.
