Detection of furosemide with tris-(2,2′-bipyridyl) ruthenium-Ce(IV) chemiluminescence

摘要
Furosemide. is a kind of forbidden medicines for sportsmen. It was observed that furosemide could greatly enhance the chemiluminescence ( CL) intensity of tris-(2,2'-bipyridyl) ruthenium (II) Ru(bipy)(2+)(3))-Ce(IV) system, based on which, a novel CL method was developed for detecting it. Under the optimum experimental conditions of 20 mg/L Ru (bipy)(3)Br-2, 0.16 mmol/L Ce (IV) and 16 mmol/L H2SO4, the linear range and detection limit of the proposed method were 5.0 x 10(-3) similar to 1.5 mg/L and 4.0 x 10(-3) mg/L, respectively. The relative standard deviation of determining I I solutions containing 0.50 mg/L furosemide was 5.0%. The proposed CL method has been applied to detect furosemide in the troche with satisfactory results.
