We present two cases of Pott's puffy tumor as a complication of chronic rhinosinusitis. Pott's puffy tumor is a osteomyelitis of the frontal bone accompanied by subperiosteal abscess. It is caused by an inflammation spreading directly or via blood vessels from the frontal sinus. Typical symptoms such as swelling of the forhead, tenderness, fever and poor general condition are a reason for alertness. Early imaging and targeted antibiotic therapy may eliminate the risk of intracranial complications and the need for surgical intervention.
