摘要
Measurements of voltage, current, and power under non-sinusoidal conditions are essential for determining the efficiency of a drive system and performing separation of losses between an adjustable speed drive and an electric motor. In variable-frequency and variable-speed control system, the input waveform is PWM, conventional apparatus can not be used to measure power parameters. The algorithm of calculation and simulation of power parameters for inverter-fed induction motor is given in this paper, the power parameters of the motor at any interval and at any time can be obtained, which is necessary to calculate the energy consumption and the efficiency of the frequency system. The validity of the developed algorithm is shown by the numerical results of a sample system. The results of calculation and simulation can be great helpful to the designing, operating and optimization of the inverter-fed motor.
