摘要：

Skin biopsies performed in a primary care clinic can provide patients with diagnosis and treatment without the need for specialist referral. They are useful procedures for the primary care clinician and are appropriate for the outpatient clinical setting. Good technique can minimize scarring and optimize cosmetic outcomes.
