摘要
The work aims to analyze the economic viability of the corn crop, compare production costs and profitability, between conventional and transgenic technologies, burn in the five regions of Mato Grosso (Middle North, West, Southeast, Center South and Northeast), analyze how crops 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17. A research used a quantitative methodological approach, through bibliographic procedures, documents and survey. The collection of data related to production costs took place through the publication of the slips of the Costs of Corn Production. Regarding the collection of the reference price of commercialization, they were collected in the bulletins of Commercialization Price Indicators, released by IMEA. Through the results, confirm the advantages in relation to the order of costs for a transgenic variety, as there was variation both in the prices of the inputs, as well as in the prices practiced in the different regions. An analysis showed that producers who opted for transgenic technology disbursed the higher costs of variations and chemical substances when compared to conventional technology. Therefore, it is possible to conclude that, considering the costs of production and profitability, the production of transgenic corn presents better economic results for conventional corn.
