摘要
Based on the theoretical model of soft reduction gradient, the soft reduction gradients for continuous casting slabs with different steel grades were investigated. The results show that there are no big changes of the range of soft reduction gradient and soft reduction rate for casting steel grades, such as low carbon, low carbon peritectic, peritectic and medium carbon, which changed from 0.26 to 0.16 mm/m and 0.37 to 0.22 mm/min, respectively. The average soft reduction gradient and average soft reduction rate almost have no change as the steel grade changed, which keep 0.21 mm/m and 0.29 mm/min, respectively. It also can be concluded that the soft reduction amount was influenced by steel grade greatly, and it became larger with the increase of the range between liquidus temperature and solidus temperature.
