Effect of aluminum on the formation of metastable phases in titanium-niobium alloys

摘要
Phase transformations in the Ti-20 at. % Nb-29 at. % Al alloy were investigated in comparison with analogous transformations in the alloy without aluminum (Ti-21 at. % Nb) to find that these transformations are similar but, in the aluminum-free alloy, ordered phases are formed in the ordered matrix.
