摘要：

The objective of the paper was to present the position and meaning of Polish agriculture within economic theory and European Union market. The position of agriculture in economic theory changed last time. We found that agriculture mainly depends on the situation of the economy in Poland. What is more Polish agriculture development depends on EU help. Poland is a significant producer of agriculture products in European Union. We are delivering more than 10% of poultry meat to Common Market. Poland is producing more than 9% of pigs for EU markets and 9% of hen eggs.
