摘要：

The total synthesis of enantiomerically pure (+)-mesembrine is described. The central pyrrolidine moiety incorporating a quaternary, all-carbon-substituted stereocenter was constructed employing an asymmetric gold-catalyzed cydoisomerization of a 1,4-diynamide.
