摘要
The present paper aims at analysing Gheorghe Craciun's last novel, published posthumously in 2013, Blue Women, an examination centred upon identifying the intertextual elements which can be found in this novel, and beyond this, establishing the types of intertextuality present here. This investigation inserts itself in a paradigm of intertextuality, as it was built upon Craciun's previous novels. Blue Women is thus the final point (so far) in the map of intertextual relationships established by Craciun's novels with texts belonging to other authors or even amongst themselves. The image that the critics have built for Blue Women as a commercial book, inconsistent in terms of theme, character and plot, and evidently disconnected from the previous titles, will certainly be questioned with the help of terms such as internal intertextuality and external intertextuality, terms which are originally interpreted and re-defined in the context of Craciun's fictional creation. The working hypothesis, fully verified in the case of the previous novels, is that Blue Women is by no means an isolated island but rather that there are connections, subtle or more evident, not only with texts belonging to other authors but even ones within Craciun's creation.
