摘要
The objective of this work is to analyze the spatially grain yield and percentage of pods of two varieties of arabic coffee in order to produce quality coffee, using methods of classical statistics and geostatistics. The experiment was installed in the season regarding the agricultural year 2007/2008 in two crops of Coffea arabica L., one of coffee Catucai and other Catuai. To evaluate the mass of wet coffee (cherry), productivity of coffee processing, income (coffee cherry coffee / received) and% of bark. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and then by geostatistics to verify the existence and quantify the degree of spatial dependence of variables. The productivity of the variety Catuai was higher than the productivity of Catucai, as a % of bark and yield, which was only noticeable change through the use of geostatistics as the average did not see that difference. The variety Catuai has greater potential for quality when compared to the variety Catucai due to the higher proportion of bark and more uniform ripening, ideal conditions for expression of this trait.
