Discriminative color descriptor by the fusion of three novel color descriptors

摘要:
This work introduces three color descriptors i.e. Color LBP (CLBP), Color HELBP (CHELBP) and Color LPQ (CLPQ). Precisely LBP, HELBP and LPQ are applied separately on RGB color compo-nents. Then all component features are joined for forming size of respective color descriptor. Further CLBP, CHELBP & CLPQ are joined to build robust face representation Discriminative Color Descriptor (DCD). Color descriptors shows their potency than gray ones and DCD conquer gray & color descriptors. DCD also outperforms several literature techniques.
