摘要
Laser Surface Texturing (LST) technique can improve the lubrication performance of cylinder line by producing the micro-dimples on the component surface. An analytical mixed lubrication model of cylinder liner-piston ring was developed by MATLAB codes considering the surface roughness and surface topography of micro-dimples, which was solved by multi-grid method with better convergence rate and accuracy. The obtained simulation results include the lubrication performance parameters such as the oil film pressures for single micro-dimple and synergistic four dimples, the minimum oil ratio; the dimensionless friction force. The results show that LSTed micro-dimples can induce the oil film pressure to separate the friction pair, and mutual coupling effects of multi-dimples do exist in the axial direction of cylinder. It is approved that the LSTed cylinder liner-piston ring is under hydrodynamic lubrication state in most regions of each stoke, which is beneficial to improve lubrication and reduce friction.
