摘要
This text brings as its theme the training of teachers in Physical Education through the National Plan for The Training of Teachers of Basic Education (Parfor), having as its object of analysis the Pedagogical Course Project (PPC) of the Federal University of Para (UFPA), Castanhal / PA Campus. The study used bibliographical and documentary research, having contribution the theoretical-historical-dialectical materialism as its theoretical support. The results revealed that the PPC was formulated to meet the demand for professional training, so that the Physical Education teacher is able to face different situations in basic education. However, the proposal analyzed may have implications for the quality of teaching in the area of Physical Education, given that the theory that sustains it does not emanate from practice, as a possibility of dialectical construction.
