摘要
This paper presents an algorithm which based on 2D MUSIC technique and designed for the simultaneous estimation of range and azimuth target location in frequency modulate continuous wave (FMCW) radar systems. Forward-backward spatial smoothing technique is used to improve performance of the algorithm in fully or partially correlated situations. We show that 2D MUSIC spectrum can be estimate by using fast Fourier transform (FFT) without any information about number of targets that provide low computation complexity. The performance of the here-proposed algorithm is compared to the conventional digital beam forming technique (DBF). Simulation and experimental results are presented.
