摘要
The buildings of Kazakhstan consumes about 11-13% of electricity and 40% of the heat energy. On average, residential buildings in Kazakhstan consume three times more energy per unit area than in the Nordic countries. There is a high level of heat loss associated with equipment wear, as well as the need for repairs and upgrades. One of the most important areas in the field of energy conservation and energy efficiency is the development and implementation of financial mechanisms for householders, stimulating the attraction of investments in the modernization of existing buildings to improve their energy efficiency. This article discusses the possibilities for improving the energy efficiency of buildings through the use of innovative financial instruments that can increase the profitability of investments in this sector and reduce costs. In this regard, the financial instruments are presented that used in international practice; the analysis of the disadvantages and advantages of the existing instruments is carried out.
