摘要
A new type of direct-drive wave energy converter (DWEC) using a high-temperature superconductor (HTS) linear synchronous generator (HTSLSG) in different forms is proposed and designed by utilizing HTS materials with much higher current density and field strength. The structural designs and operation modes are presented in detail. The advantages of the HTSLSG DWEC system design are then verified, especially with respect to performance and efficiency analysis.
