This paper describes a WWW application developed to be implemented in a writing class. The Web-based learning project is designed to promote learning with Internet resources and authentic materials for second language teachers who desire to know how to integrate the Internet into their writing classes. The application of implementing technology with second language writing classes is presented through four-unit lessons. In this paper the rationale, objectives and lesson plans are described. Model lessons of descriptive writing will be illustrated. Using the topic of the American writer, Mark Twain, as the backbone in this project, the author hopes this project can also offer some ideas for implementing Internet resources in any content area. It can also help teachers or teacher trainers to implement Internet resources and Internet projects in their classrooms.
