摘要
Modelling of batch annealing process parameters of dual phase steels is crucial to obtain targeted steel microstructure, hence desired mechanical properties and enhanced formability. By developing unique annealing profile parameters -including but not limited to critical annealing temperature, isoholding duration and cooling rate- in consideration with chemical composition; high strength steel products possessing better cold formability, strain hardenability and higher anisotropy values are attained. In this study, the correlations of material properties with microscale features and processing parameters are investigated. Nakazima tests along with microstructural investigations are performed. Cold-rolled and batch annealed materials of this study are compared with conventionally produced dual phase steels and superior formability is validated through mechanical and microstructural characterization.
