摘要
The main methods used to inspect high-voltage transmission lines at present are ground-based manual visual observation method and helicopter/unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-aided aerial surveying method, which, however, are of high potential safety hazards, low precision, large intensity and high cost. Given this, a new-type inspection robot for high-voltage transmission lines was designed. First, the background, operating environment and domestic (Chinese) and foreign research status were investigated, the complete machine structure of the new-type inspection robot was designed and analyzed in details, the feasibility of the physical prototype obstacle-surmounting plan was experimentally verified, and it was finally proved that the proposed design scheme of the complete machine structure was practical.
