摘要
This paper presents a summary and an analysis of the augmented reality systems that have been developed for medical applications. We firstly present the existing AR systems and their applications. Then, we highlight their current limits and the clinical conditions that have to be fulfilled so that the guiding information provided remains relevant. We will mainly see that the rigidity assumption generally adopted is in fact seldom true for most interventions. We then describe the recent works that have been performed to take the patient deformation into account. Finally, we present some research axes that still need to be explored before AR systems for interventions involving soft tissues can be provided.
