摘要
A solution to the problem of identification of material parameters by inverse modelling is presented. Values of hardening parameters in a constitutive model due to Bammann et. al. are identified. High strain-rate experiments on titanium specimens are used for comparison against results from finite element simulation. Numerical examples are given demonstrating the method and improvements in simulation results obtained.
