摘要
The synthesis of 'Bamboo-like' and straight carbon nanotubes using thermolysis of Hexa-peri-hexabenzocoronene-cobalt complexes was analyzed. The compound was dissolved in dry dichloromethane and then Co[2(CO 8] was added. The thermolysis was carried in a sealed quartz tube with the temperature being controlled by an electronmagnetic oven. SEM measurements were performed on a LEO 1530 field emission scanning electron microscope. Results show that the obtained catrbon nanostructures depend on the3 heating process employed. Similar metal-polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon complexxes will be synthesized and thermolyzed to further understand the role of graphitic PAHs in the precursor complexes.
