摘要
A new generation: The incorporation of N-heterocyclic carbene/pyridine- based ruthenium sensitizers derived from benzimidazolium salts into dye-sensitized solar cells results in superior current densities, cell voltages, and photoelectric conversion efficiencies. The performance of a solar cell sensitized with CBTR (see picture) exceeded that of the traditional N719 cell. © 2010 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
