摘要
The power is changing dynamically all the time in power system, and the appropriate reserve sizing is needed to ensure the system balance. With the development of renewable energy sources, the variability nature of wind and solar energy presents challenges to the stable operation of power system such as severer net load fluctuation, lower system inertia and inadequate accommodation of renewable energy. Therefore, traditional reserve allocation is not applicable to high penetration renewable energy power system. The content of this work is to comprehensively consider EENS(expected energy not supplied), renewable energy accommodation and determining the requirements of energy storage according to time-varying periodic components. Based on genetic algorithm, a modified reserve allocation scheme is proposed which can satisfy the constraints and also achieve economic optimization.
