摘要
Intelligent Decision Support System (IDSS) has been used in widely area, in order to support decision making. The word intelligent in IDSS refers to the process of that involves expert knowledge or knowledge gain from learning the data. IDSS is applying Decision Support System (DSS) and Expert System (ES) in its application. Mostly used in business area, IDSS in this paper is proposed to give support in deciding best strategy for a basketball team. The initial data used are statistical data of the team players and the opponent players. From the initial data, determination of player position is taken place using classification method of supervised learning. The classification method proposed in this paper is Support Vector Machine (SVM), as the best classification method in this domain based on experiment conducted. Expert knowledge about team strategy based on the composition of players, is stored in rule based system, embedded in IDSS. The classification accuracy is 66.37% in predicting position of a player based on his statistical data, determination of initial offense strategy accuracy is 70%, determination of initial defense strategy accuracy is 67.5%, determination of final offense strategy accuracy is 68.75%, and determination of final defense strategy accuracy is 70%.
