For the example of a curing reaction of an epoxy resin the curing dependence of the relaxation times is measured by DMA and temperature modulated DSC and described by the conversion dependence on the glass transition temperature. The relaxation time change slows down during isothermal reaction, if vitrification occurs. The interaction between the relaxation nine and the curing process is described by the diffusion controlled function. The prediction of the reaction kinetics agrees well with the experimental results.
