摘要
The adsorption properties of mesoporous silica MCM-41 was investigated using adsorption of Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) dissolved in water media. The results showed that all parameters might influence the adsorption quantity which included the effect of adsorption time, adsorbent dose, initial BSA concentration and the effect of temperature. The adsorption quantity increased with the increase of the adsorption time and initial BSA concentration. The optimum adsorbent dose was considered to be 30mg. Increase of the temperature resulted in the increase of adsorption quantity. The isotherm studies showed that Langmuir and Freundlich models were both to describe the adsorption behavior of MCM-41. These results showed that MCM-41 was a kind of suitable material in the field of biomedical. c 2011 Published by Elsevier Ltd. Selection and/or peer-review under responsibility of ICEES 2011.
