ANALYSIS OF THE POSSIBILITIES OF WASTE HEAT FROM GAS TURBINE RECOVERY BY THE ORC POWER PLANT APPLICATION

摘要
In the paper has been presented possibilities of heat recovery from exhaust gas of the turbine and conversion the energy to electrical energy. There have been planned that the energy of the exhaust gases will be supplied to appropriated heat exchangers and then to ORC Power plant, by using an intermediate water system. The article provides basic information about ORC power plant. An thermodynamic analysis was carried out using different working media and for synthetic fluid R227ea the best efficiency have been obtained. Simplified economic analysis showed that the project could start to generate revenue in the ninth year of installation operation for the 200 PLN/MWh sale price of electricity and in the fourth year of the price of electricity at a level 400 PLN/MWh.
