Further numerical analyses on the solubility of diazepam in aqueous tert-butanol mixtures

摘要
The mole fraction equilibrium solubility of diazepam in some {tert-butanol (1) + water (2)} mixtures at several temperatures has been correlated by means of the Jouyban-Acree model and also to evaluate the preferential solvation of this compound by the mixtures components. By using the inverse Kirkwood-Buff integrals method apparently is observed that diazepam is preferentially solvated by water in water-rich and tert-butanol-rich mixtures but preferentially solvated by tert-butanol in mixtures of similar proportions of both solvents.
