Nano-cellulose-OTiCl3 as a green and efficient catalyst for one-pot synthesis of 2-amino-7-hydroxy-4-aryl-4H-chromene-3-carbonitrile

摘要
2-Amino-7-hydroxy-4-aryl-4H-chromene-3-carbonitrile derivatives were prepared via one-pot three-component reaction among resorcinol, malononitrile and aromatic aldehydes. This reaction carried out successfully by applying nano-cellulose-OTiCl3 as an effective and inexpensive catalyst with excellent yields within short time. Nanocatalyst recycled several times without significant loss of its catalytic efficiency. The size and morphology of nanocatalyst was observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) result confirmed the chemical composition of nanocatalyst and inductively coupled plasma (ICP) proved the stability of recycled catalyst. The products were identified by melting point, fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and proton nuclear magnetic resonance (H-1-NMR) spectra.
