摘要
This paper presents a case study using a method and techniques for architectural-level performance analysis for real-time systems that can help the designer to select the right architecture starting from a set possible design. More precisely, we introduce the Rate Monotonic Analysis (RMA) as an effective set of techniques for time analysis and a method that allow to use these techniques adequately. The method and techniques have been implemented in an analysis tool. In Addition, we show a complete case study is a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), which is relatively stable in the industry for the last thirty years. SCADA system has been described using Pipelines of Processes in Object Oriented Architectures (PPOOA), which is architectural style, an extension of UML for real-time systems.
