摘要
Square aniiprisms of Sn8/6- (see picture) are present in solid-state structures of the compounds Rb4Li2Sn8 and K4Li2Sn8, which were synthesized from the elements at 400°C. They are the first Zintl phases to contain arachno clusters of main group elements.
